It is the only town in Gipuzkoa that still holds processions on Maundy Thursday, recognised as the best in the north of the country. More than three hundred locals take part in the processions and, during the rest of the time, they are responsible for maintaining and caring for images that stand out for their great beauty and methodical elaboration, some of them dating back to the 17th century. In addition, the processions are accompanied by txistularis, a choir and a band that perform various pieces and create a unique and solemn atmosphere.
