Amongst many others, these 3 terms could define the style of AKELARRE, although the one spirit that guided it from its beginnings was that of achievement. A desire for continuous improvement and perfection, that leads us to question everything, to consider asking ourselves why not do things differently?
This philosophy led us to want to elevate the offering of our restaurant, with the complete experience of 5-star accommodation and all the comforts one would expect from a luxury hotel.
This is how AKELARRE Hotel, one of the few hotels in the world with its own 3 star Michelin restaurant, was born.

The project
The architectural studio Mecanismo has been responsible for the construction and interior design of AKELARRE Hotel, selecting elements that co-exist in harmony with the environment that surrounds us.
A privileged enclave
Only 10 minutes from the centre of San Sebastian, AKELARRE Hotel enjoys the tranquillity of the natural environment of the Basque coast.
Natural character
The excellence of raw materials, one of our hallmarks, is maintained in our hotel. We have opted for a warm and welcoming design, using natural materials that harmonize with our surroundings.
